Unit Meeting
January 19th, 2003

1st Order Of Business:
Official notice has been given that Sgt. Andreas Transo, who is currently abroad in London, England; has officially resigned his position as Sergeant in the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry.
Sgt. Transo has proudly served the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry for the last nine years, during which time his dedication and loyalty has been without limit and his "performances" both on the field and off, will always be "unforgettable". Furthermore, it should go without saying, that Sgt. Transo will truly be missed and that he will always have a home with the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry.

2nd Order Of Business:
With the resignation of Sgt. Transo, the position of Sergeant would then need to be filled. Therefore, with recommendation from Sgt. Transo and the approval of attending members of the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Corporal Augustus "Gus" Hammer is hereby promoted to Sergeant, effective immediately.
Sgt. Hammer began his service with the 1st Wisconsin in 1992. During which time, his consistent loyalty and willingness to help his fellow soldiers, has made Sgt. Hammer a great asset to the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry.

3rd Order Of Business:
With the promotion of Sgt. Hammer, the position of Corporal would then need to be filled. Therefore, with recommendation from Sgt. Transo and the approval of attending members of the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Trooper Jefferson A. Radaj is hereby promoted to Corporal, effective immediately.
Having been "recruited" by various members of the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry, Corporal Radaj began his service on August 2nd of 2001, at the Muskets & Memories event in Boscobel Wisconsin.
Corporal Radaj is also the responsible party for which the website can be blamed.
Since the site's creation, Corporal Radaj has not only dedicated his life to appease the will of the ever demanding website. But he has also embarked upon futile crusade against the hordes of type-O's that ravage our once peacefull website. Good luck to you Corporal.....

4th Order Of Business:
At this time, a schedule of known events were announced and then agreed upon. Though the majority of the schedule was agreed upon, it should also be mentioned that there are events that may or may not be in full attendance, due to prior engagements.
One item of special interest involved the deployment of the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry to 140th Annual Gettysburg Reenactment.
As things stand, the Gettysburg reenactment will be kept on the Schedule Of Events. Additional information will be provided and "if at all possible" we really would like everyone to attend. This is going to be a great time and there really is no better group to spend it with.
To conclude the matter, the event schedule will be updated and posted on the website, ASAP.
