This is one of our main events during the season. It will be kind of strange without Andreas (Sgt. Transo) being there. But that just means that we need be in even better form and support the event that much more.

Last year, Capt. Pittman was the over-all cavalry commander and Sgt. Transo was promoted to command the dismounts. Which couldn't have been easy, considering that we had more dismounted cavalry on the field, than the entire infantry could muster for both days.

But remember, it is a hot one. So drink plenty of liquids and plan for the heat.
