Winter Ball & Unit Meeting
January 18th & 19th
On the 18th of January most of the 1st Wisconsin Cavalry came out of winter hibernation to join the 24th Iowa Infantry for their annual Winter Ball.
The evening consisted of a family style meal, followed by music and dancing.
Sunday morning was the unit meeting which was attended by most of the unit. The meeting notes are as follows.
